Might want to also participate a little in the forums before trying to sell an item. People might then not assume you are only coming here to post a sale (in the regular forums) and do not really care about the forum itself. I have seen another forum that would instantly ban you forever for doing this, however I believe Mike is a lot more lenient.
It is simply bad form to come on a forum and post a sales ad (in the incorrect thread; Amplifier thread for a spinner sale... really?) prior to actually participating... this is my opinion and I do not talk for anyone else here.
As was stated price is usually a good thing, along with a photo or three... in the sales thread.
US Audio Mart also offers free ads.
