I believe that Clearaudio company did something over the last 10 years to impact their sound signature,

if in early days when the acrylic was dominate their build structure, and the sound came out precise, dynamic but DRY... today when the higher models are build with
Wood, aluminium and Derlin alloy they remain precise very very dynamics, but not close to a dry sound.
i guess one need to hear it, to understand the "revolution".
after several years with playing around with some "big boys" turntables, Michel engineering, Brinkmann Bardo then the Balance (i still own) with two arms...
the A.S Aquilar and an SME 12" I started to stare on linear tracking arms and find those of Clearaudio fantastic looking and construct.
i decided to buy the Master Innovation (One step below the huge "Statement") with two arms... the TT2 linear tracking and their top of the line radial arm, the UNIVERSAL.
this set up is phenomenal from every aspect you can think of, it is a true revelation!
in times that TD, Kronos AND some others brands get most of the attention (they should! they are awesome TTs!)- a 40 years old, one of the biggest analog company in all times- keep doing what they do best! i urge you all to go and get a listen if you can, to such set up! it will blow you perspective on what you can pull out from a grove for sure!

Congrats!!! How is the linear tracking arm? That's always fascinated me. I love CA tables.

thanks guys!
i'm still comparing everything to my Brinkmann balance and Aquilar... but - i think the TT2 is really a game changer! (i would know for sure after i mount the UNIVERSAL and the Aquilar too on the CA to compare and taking the linear tracking out of the equation).
in the meantime - its the best sound i've heard in my room ever and most of the analog setups i heard around.
this combo is so ALIVE, detail and dynamic that i was thinking "how can it be??" at first LP.
solo piano are so clear and translucent. its scary!
vocal are dense and holographic...
huge orchestra sounds... well - Huge! with tons of timber and natural tonality. and with layers upon layers of texture.
it is not a warm and romantic "analog" sound. but far from the dryness i was listen from a former CA models.
i have a valve bass power section in my system and my room adds its own warmth to the overall sound signature, the CA is blending in perfectly!
as for now i'm using my Myajima Takumi cart with the TT2, but soon i will get my new Ortofon Anna i was ordered a few days ago, hopefully it will stretch the quality further up! i was mounted my ZYX r1000 SB at first but it was a bit light and high compliance for the TT2 liking. the Myajima really shine on this arm, i was never heard it playing like this. maybe i will upgrade it to the kansuii up the road and give it a try also... now when i have 4 arms... the possibilities are great.

thanks again for your kind words guys.
happy to be here.
A.
