    He did it himself and set the overhang using a gauge, but I kind of doubt that the VTA is really dialed in at the Rega's default arm height. The stylus profile of the AT-ART9 is not as fussy regarding VTA as a Shibata stylus.

    A friend of mine had a very nice R2R collection and we listened to quite a bit of music that way over his well setup system in the 90's. I'll say dynamic range, frequency response and tape hiss be damned, it still sounded so analog and so "right"

    My P3 came with the Elys 2 and was a steal when I got it. Just getting back into vinyl, along with the Phono section of the Lux, I am pretty happy for now. I suppose in the future there will be an upgrade.
