Anyone have experience with Acoustimac? Being local it's quite nice to avoid shipping.

I have had several of their panels. The work well and are nicely constructed. Price is not too bad either. After acquiring the Still point Aperture, I sold most of them but kept 4 corner traps.

They are here in Tampa. I purchased the products to make all of the panels in my listening room. Very easy to work with.

I called Acoustimac, they said I could *not* pick up in person. Weak. I'm not going to pay shipping for the things to go like 2 miles. They weren't even too friendly.

That is how they operate. I live in Sarasota and offered to drive up to Tampa for a pick up but they rejected that. The issue is that they don't have a facility to take care of their customers - just a factory.
They did a very nice job with the panels I bought. They custom made them to my specifications. Also, very helpful with recommendations. And, were flexible with the cost of shipping. All panels arrived without any issues._______________
