    New toys

Just picked this pairing up this week, haven't been this excited to try a new piece of gear out in quite some time. Accuphase just oozes quality!

    Re: New toys

Thanks boys, I unpacked both and temporarily set them up side by side. The PS-1230 is MASSIVE, it may be a bit shorter than the PS Audio P20 but it absolutely dwarfs it in sheer size.

Congrats! Would be very interested in your assessment of the PS-1230.

    New toys

Just connected everything up and right out of the box this is some of the best sound I have ever had. I don't know how much of that is due to some magic between Dyn and Accuphase and how much the 1230 is having a hand in all of it but rest assured I have had some very expensive gear over the years and this is right up there. The PS Audio P20 made a drastic change in my last system but Im feeling that I now have even more magic with this set up. I highly prefer the e480 to the e650 I had for a week, at least with my current speakers I suppose.
