Where is the carpet in that room? All the great electronics and speakers and chairs will benefit from getting rid of that big shiny reflective surface (it seems to me).

Accuphase at the HK hifi show always exhibit with Tannoy - so it makes sense

Looks to be a Tuned Room by the alternating angled walls. The Kimmel Center in Philly is a Tuned and Tunable room with no carpet and perfect sound. I guess if you do it right......but yeah, a nice throw rug would have helped :)
