Accuphase DP-720 vs DP-750
Wanted to share something not so trivial
Interesting thing happen when me and my friend at his place compared his old Accuphase DP-720 and new DP-750 that he got form dealer as a demo for a week.
To our surprise DP-750 after 150-200 hours of burn in was a little less analog and warm then DP-720
I’m not saying that DP-750 was not good, it was amazing, but DP-720 was a bit better on most of disks that we played Red Book and SACD
Wanted to share and hear opinions of your experience with above and higher models.

Re: Accuphase DP-720 vs DP-750
So you preferred the presentation of the 720 to the 750, that doesnt make the 720 better. Glad you had the experience though.

Re: Accuphase DP-720 vs DP-750
I was the Accuphase 720 owner, I can confirm that it is a nice CD/SACD player and has decent sound. The only drawback compares with the 750 is the 720 does not support DSD if you use it as a DAC.

Yes...it makes for a BIG improvement. Every demo I've heard where at Altaira was in the system, folks listened, and then the Altaira(s) were removed, and folks immediately demanded the Altaira be put...
Altaira or Gemini CGS on...
