    Accuphase C47

    Hi guys,

    Just received my C47 yesterday.
    It's beautiful.
It sounds better than my Esoteric E-03.

Does the VPI get much play time with the Technics SL-1000R in the system.

Is that the factory dust cover - does not look like it has hinges - do you have to remove the cover each time you play it?

The cover with the SL-1000R is supply by Technics. A very good surprise !
I must remove the cover each time I play it.
No hinges because you can add 3 arms...

Sorry for my english but my level in english is limited.
With your question : Does the VPI get much play time with the Technics SL-1000R in the system ?
I don't know if I have good understand what you write - sorry.

If your question is : VPI is better than Technics ?
I can affirm : it's not the same sound, even with the same cartridge.
    SL-1000R is more 'High Fidelity'...
    VPI cheats and embellishes sound.
SL-1000R is absolutely silent...No noise, even with the blank between the songs, more bass than VPI and bass are better defined. The details are there. I discover my vinyl again...
    Hope this help !
