Found myself watching instructional vids by Robin Trower

The other night I youTubed Robin Trower and watched several vids including some instructional vids about his technique and vibrato. I don't play guitar, used to play Bass, but I am always curious as to how certain players get their sound.

The first thing I did not realize is that he uses 2 Marshal Stacks but a different Head Unit for each. One a Marshal Head, the other a Fender. He also uses such string bending techniques that make me now realize why there are no musicians that do many Trower covers. Many of his notes are bent to get the right pitch/octave and then unbent to get down to the note that it would be on that fret.

Trower is an impressive yet way under rated player who apparently is very hard to copy. Any other fans here?

One player I never did get to see live but love to death.
