Does aurender require Internet connection to hook up an play
My home internet is down and I am not able to access my aurender w20 as it says it cannot find an IP address. Does aurender require an Internet connection to operate?

Aurender does not require internet access to work but it does require it to be connected to your local network in order to stream from a NAS or for the iPad app to work. You can also use the controls on the unit itself to scroll through your music but it's a PITA.

Well, that may be true insofar as day-to-day playback is concerned. However, the Aurender tech team seem to be coming out with system updates at a fairly good clip and the unit will require internet access to download those as well as for any tech support required since they directly address the unit over the web connection in order to troubleshoot

Ethan's all. Problem resolved. I realised my cat 6 cable was faulty. I do have another issue though... I was not allowed to edit the folders within hdd1... Permission denied. Has anyone this issue before?
