One of the real strengths of the speakers its flexibility. They are relatively neutral in balance. They are efficient. They are very adjustable, most importantly in the bass. They can be used in a wide variety of rooms with a equally wide variety of associated equipment.
At the prices involved for these "mega" systems, owners should get a sound they love. I've heard over 15 GU setups over the years. All of them sounded different to a degree. I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
