Why is this forum so screwed up with an iPad
I am a patient person, but this is really starting to irritate me. On every other audio forum I visit I can post, and edit this posts, with no problem using either an iPad Mini Retina, or a full size iPad Retina with the latest IOS.
Yet, on this site every thing is a challenge, especially trying to edit posts with images.
WTF is this?

Re: Why is this forum so screwed up with an iPad
I suspect the problem is having the frames for sponsors, new posts, etc. on the right instead of at the top or bottom. Major design faux pas.

Re: Why is this forum so screwed up with an iPad
Bud, what version of iOS are you on? And which browser/version? I use an iPad mini, retina, iOS 7.1, and Chrome browser. I frequently post from the iPad mini and have no problem, including posting images. But my sw are older versions as I don't upgrade regularly.

IOS software is 8.4.1. I get the same result from either Safari or Chrome.

I just tried the same thing, but didn't post the pic. Seems to work ok for me.
Bud, are you up early or staying up late? It's like 3:17AM where you are now, right?

Bud, it works fine here. Have you tried using TapaTalk for iPad? It's free. That's what I use on my iPad.

Re: Why is this forum so screwed up with an iPad
The scaling has always been odd for me with iPad/iOS/Safari too. I can see the 'Top Ten Stats' widget at the bottom might be causing width issues - possibly the horizontal rulers (or the whole thing) on it have an absolute width wider than the rest of the site?
[edit] - this looks to be the same issue as what I'm seeing with Top 10 Stats on AS.

It's the skin the Shark uses. I recommend what Mike says and use the tapatalk app. We both use the same Vbulletin software AVShowrooms Forums but ours is a basic Vbulletin default style with subtle enhancements. The Shark has a great look if you compare.

Bud, I've sent a note to the developer to get some ideas on what might be causing this for you.

Thank you. It certainly is bizarre. Both Safari and Chrome have the issue.

I use my iPad and Safari (prefer the full web interface over Tapatalk) and have no issues. Pre-Retina iPad with latest OS.

Re: Why is this forum so screwed up with an iPad
The forum allows big images (in width-height) and unfortunately ipad is not capable of handling them well.
I'd also suggest using tapatalk which is ideal for dealing with forums in small screen devices.
Alternatively, you can try to switch your editor during editing the post in your ipad by clicking the icon that looks like "a/A" at the top left of the editor interface which will turn off live images in the post and hopefully fix your problem. Please see the screenshot:Attachment 12716
