Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Searching for the bed room system.
Will power the small book shelf speakers.
Rogers LS3/5A or DeVORE 3XL.
Don't want to break the bank. my budget is under 3K.
My choices are so far ....
1. Unison Research Simply Italy
I heard them with Bryston's Mini speakers and I was impressed.
2. Cary CAD 300SEI
3. Manley Stingray
And I am more lean in to no 1.
Anybody heard them before ?
Oh...Also will purchase the small REL sub ( perhaps the T5 )Paul

Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Paul, you ask us to make a choice between A-B or C and as a true audiophile I will answer other. My choice would go for an ARC VSI 60. Can be found used only nowadays but an amazing little integrated for the price.

Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Paul - if you go with the Rogers, the Cary's would be out due to efficiency. What about a pair of Klipsch Palladium P-17B's? The Cary's would be pretty sweet for those.

Re: Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Paul if you're looking for an inexpensive integrated take a look at the Line Magnetic LM211. EL34's with 15 watts triode or 32 watts ultra linear mode. If I remember correctly they are around $1650.00, are point to point wired and sound amazing for the money. A no-nonsense amp that will match up great with those speakers.

Re: Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Another great little amp is the Audio Vista i34. 35 watts of sweet EL34 power and amazingly good for just under 1k. I had one of these amps for a couple of years and kick myself for getting rid of it.

Paul, sometimes you just have to dive in head first.
There's a reason why you don't see many LM amps on the used market...

Re: Integrated Tube Amp for bed room.
Here are some pictures.
listen to them with Rogers LS3/5A with 12 Watts....I'm so confused.....Why do I need a monster set up ??? Seriously....Why ?
Darn sounds good. I can easily live with them as my main...I mean ...It's got every thing...High ...Mid...Bass...
The fit and finish is top notch...The knobs on volume and selector are as good as Shindo gears.
Also the remote is made by wood and metal and obviously better than my McIntosh's remote.
Hmmm.....Simply Italy .....Highly recommended.Paul

Just for curiosity I paired them with my main speakers ( Music speakers )
How this 12 watts can drive these monster speakers so ease ??? Anyone can explain ? When I had a Master sound 845 Int amp. It was having a hard time to push the driver's but this little machine has a no problem.....Hmmm.Paul
