    Re: D5

I agree w using the subs. I had great success with using subs with the D1s and I'm sure the C1.1s would be no different.

In my case - yes the D3s were better than D1s with subs but ... Closer than one might imagine.

I'm not a big fan of JV but his findings are very close to my ears in this instance.

Interesting where the D5 is making its show appearances.

    Hi,

Anybody who can recommend the minimum room size for D5s? Or D4s or D3s.

    Thanks.

    Re: D5

Generally speaking the more room the D5's have the better. Some have used them in smaller rooms with success. I have my D5.1's in a 16x28 room with 11' ceiling peak. They sound wonderful. I have them parked in the nearfield at about 10' from tweeter to ear based on my personal taste.

I have heard three different sets of D5.1's in giant rooms with two story ceilings and openings to adjacent rooms, where if you looked at the room design on paper you might not think it would produce good sound and they do.

I have my D3.1's at my winter residence in a room that is 12x16 and again in the nearfield. I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Of course system and component matching is of utmost importance for best results. That's where a smart Raidho dealer comes in!

    Re: D5

I have the D5s in a 13' x 20' x 8' room and they sound great. Because Raidho speakers work well close to the sidewalls, they work well.
