Speaking of carbon fiber... Finally got around to installing this little carbon chin spoiler, made to order, all hand-laid and imported from Japan. Only two in the country. Guess who has one of them.

Also finally installed these rear bumper add-ons, otherwise known as "spats". Painted by my buddy as well as installed by him and another friend of mine, which owns this little shop that just a few of us use for our own vehicles. Full lift and everything.

    And a nice side shot...

Not so nice and clean now with all of this rain and highway travel. However, this weekend, it's getting suspension goodies added on, dropping the front 1.5" and the rear 1.25" along with some stainless, 4130 chromoly and titanium goodness to boot!

New floor mats and alcantara center console lid!
(Also added my Sig Sauer P232 pistol that conceals nicely in the driver door pocket below the arm rest.)

Your car looks great. What color is it? The C7Corvette was a good car but going to Corvette events was like going to AARP meetings.

I loved my Z06, never had any problems at all in 9 years.
My TTS has all-wheel steering so it really feels like a lot smaller car even though the specs are similar to to Vette.
    Mine is Metallic Basalt.

I believe that the color might be called Basalt Black Metallic. A beautiful color with the sparkles in the paint. I used to own a 997 in that color. Enjoy it!!!

Amen for enjoying it on the road and not just keeping it in the garage. I could listen to that flat six all day long.

    Let's see your ride

Good deal! I went without one this time but think I’ll go that route on the next ride.

Thanks Kev. After my Dad died suddenly in 2013, I all but quit playing golf. Used to love golfing with my Dad. Just not the same any more. So, I stick to hockey three times a week and spend a lot more time with the kids instead. Maybe one day I’ll play regularly again.

The car is absolutely wonderful. The Corvette GS is a better car than any of my past 911’s. It's more powerful, handles actually BETTER, has a way more comfortable ride (thanks to the magnetic ride suspension). Better gas mileage. Superb breaking. And won’t cost $500 for an oil change either.

The 911’s had an ever so slight edge on interior, but we are splitting hairs. Mine is a 3LT trim.

You’re right! The new look grew on me. I’ll be honest, I don’t care for the coupe. Too much of a humpy back. Now the convertible....that’s another story. It reminds me of the 360 Spyder. Of course, the salesman said, “if I bring 10 people in here, 9 will choose the coupe”. I guess I’m the “1”. Let's see your ride
