No experience with Lumin personally. My friend had the Cambridge, it seemed to work without flaw in regards to streaming. I didn't get to play with the phone App. If you are familiar with the Cambridge sound, the 851 is no exception.

Apparently, my friend and I were born wih different hearing. He keeps trying to convince me how "rich" the Cambridge is but I'm not hearing it, unless our definitions of "rich" are very different.

I hear the Cambridge sound as detailed, respectively, somewhat thin sounding that gives a bit lean to bright. Wih that being said they are typically a good value in their price range.

Thanks for your comment, I currently have the 851n and I'm not complaining, it sounds pretty good, I plan to raise the level even if it's a bit (by buying the Lumin D2) and take advantage of MQA. I hope that the users with their experiences will help me make the decision. Greetings.
