i switched from a Finite Element rack to a CMS Maxxum rack and the improvement to the sound quality was nuts. Cant rate their products highly enough.

I just ordered two of the exact same racks with Mike, and put them together a few days ago. I think Mike copied me... haha
I got them built, hooked everything back up and gave it a listen... It took maybe 60 seconds to hear the substantial difference. I ended up sitting there for an hour wondering if I had somehow hooked up my system differently... Nope - these racks really do deliver and they cleaned up my small listening room in pretty much every way. Very happy with the purchase so far. Thanks Mike!

It all depends on overall height, plus level of shelf. There are four levels of shelves. I went with stock ($125) on the bottom, then black Sapphire ($995) in the middle and then black Platinum ($1995) on top. There is a Diamond level shelf above that. You could be anywhere from $3600 - $10,000+ depending on overall height and grade of shelf. Originally Posted by vortrex

Suggestion: run Roon core on a computer in your house. Laptop is fine. Try roon on the aurender (free demo) and compare. If you prefer roon (it’s the best UI, but sonically inferior IMO), then...
