Fantastic. MBL electronics is ideal with MBL speakers (as one would expect).

MBL sure has an audio aesthetic quality all its own. What is unique is it looks great, in most peoples eyes, and sounds great too.

The biggest misunderstanding is that MBL electronics can/should only be used with MBL speakers. Let me tell you, these electronics are stupid crazy good. I have a client running the MBL C level (entry level) integrated with Magico S1 mk2’s and I couldn’t believe the sound. It was fantastic. The Noble line of electronics are just awesome. The amps are Class D with an analog output stage (as I understand it). They never get above room temperature and have 36 amps of peak current. They have a soft clipping technology for protection. 560 watts into 4ohms. Sonically?? Very fast, dynamic, meat on the bones sound, smoooooooth on top, great bass control.

The preamp offers Unity Gain for greater transparency with the option of switching to 8db of gain.

The CD player/DAC has a Roon Ready network card coming any day now. The remotes are also just gorgeous.

It could be speaker positioning or the nature of the beast with those speakers. Every time I’ve heard them, I think “boomy little suckers”.

    I’m using the Noble CD/DAC.

I ve tried different strategies: feeding it by the c21, chord hugo2, different speaker cables, nothing removed that over emphasize of the bass generally and boomy bass sometimes.
I never had this problem before with my devialet, so i don t thing it s speakers position placement.
    Thks
