Where have you found isolation, vibration control to work best?

Where have you found isolation, vibration control to work best?

For me, it’s digital, hands down.

I really like the technology behind the Magico QPods because it’s more than just isolation, it’s also dissipation. That would be my first pick.

The Ultra SS from Stillpoints work good too.

The complete solution: the Artesania rack provides total isolation. Where have you found isolation, vibration control to work best?

A good rack helps, but otherwise I have currently removed pretty much all the gadgets.

That said, I do have thick granite plates under the Shunyata and power amp, and the Nyquist came with one as well.

I have found that turntable and speaker isolation are very important.

My experience, in order of impact:

    1) Speakers: Stillpoints SSs under my Martin Logans was transformative.
    2) Turntable: SRA platform.
    3) Cary tube pre and separate power supply: a) Putting them on separate shelves and b) Stillpoints SSs.
    4) ASR solid state Phono Stage and separate power supply: Stillpoints SSs.

HRS base for analog is a killer.

Re: Where have you found isolation, vibration control to work best?

Putting my digital on a Herzan TS140 was trans-formative...

Stillpoints rob the life out of everything I have ever put them under

Racks are just a starting point
