Re: Andrew Jones on creative ways to achieve low distortion bass
The Elac/Adante room at the LAAS was the one demo that left me shaking my head. Not because it blew away every other demo but for the fact that skillful engineering with the right resources will easily beat the 'garagistas' that charge 4 and 5 times or more. I'm anxious to hear the final version at a dealer showroom.

Mike.......Andrew Jones is quite the personable guy. I enjoyed his relaxed conversation and sense of humor. His accomplishments obviously speak for themselves. Thanks for the link to the interview.

Re: Andrew Jones on creative ways to achieve low distortion bass
It'll be a pleasure
Once the new Adante speakers are in, I've also scheduled with the ELAC rep for him to bring in the Audio Alchemy electronics, the ones they've used at the LA Show. Those are reasonably priced (around $1000-$2000), and did an incredible job with the Adantes, as you probably heard. That got me curious, so let's see!!
cheers,
alex

He must really pi$$ some industry people off, for all the right reasons. A breath of fresh air indeed, as is the young lady at Stereophile who puts these video interviews together(and writes informative and humorous show reviews)

I listened to the Elac Adantes at Axpona. These speakers are terrific for $2,500. Andrew Jones did it again!
