Re: Decware CSP3 tube preamplifier anyone?
I had one for a few years. I ran it in front of several different moderate SS amps and I thought the combinations were giant killers. It responds very well to tube rolling.

Looks like a great unit and reviews/opinions have been great. The lack of a remote is a deal killer for me. I need to have a remote control.

Re: Decware CSP3 tube preamplifier anyone?
Ha, yes it is far from having a remote. Steve keeps his products as simple as possible. I'm sure he spends more time voicing his equipment by simplifying circuits more than he does adding anything to them. I also had a ZP3 phono stage I paired with the CSP3 and the combination was impressive. Yes, it had a tube sound but was quiet with a good detailed performance. I still have a Taboo MKIII I used for headphones and I also find it has an impressive performance.

12V is sufficient, and the LHY power supply Adam recommended is an excellent power supply.
