Re: MAGICO M3 - Review
Barry, haven't heard from you lately. What's the verdict or what did you decide to do? Keep the M3 or went back to Wilson?
I just received my M3 10 days ago and I don't have the issue of base. But my room is only 14x19x8, much smaller than yours. I am driving them with a pair of the Marantz MA9S2.

What would be a better M3 amp fit the Vac 450 tube monos or the Precision M-1? I will be driving them direct from MSB Ref Dac.

Re: MAGICO M3 - Review
For those interested in hearing the M3s in the Midwest, F1 Audio in Palatine, IL has a pair in their showroom now through Thursday March 1. On that date there will be a presentation 5 to 9 PM by Peter Mackay of Magico as well as Bill McKiegan of D'Agostino. I am not the dealer but the future owner of the speakers.
Also, I have learned that Magico will have the A3s only at Axpona.

Yes...it makes for a BIG improvement. Every demo I've heard where at Altaira was in the system, folks listened, and then the Altaira(s) were removed, and folks immediately demanded the Altaira be put...
Altaira or Gemini CGS on...
