    This hobby always amazes me. As Jim was indicating that properly implemented subs also affect other frequencies besides the bass. Such as the strings of a guitar. I too have found that with subs the entire frequency range is affected. Even the treble which doesn't make a lot of sense. Conversely, I have been playing with add on rear firing ambient tweeters and am finding that they are making an impact on the bass. Go figure.
