    Is mild warp acceptable?

Just got some new vinyl and again there is noticeable warp on the album. Enough to I can see the arm move up and down. Return or keep? This part of vinyl frustrats me.

Make a Frisbee out of it. If you play too many warped LPs, they will warp your mind. Seriously, what LP did you buy that is warped and how much was it?

    Re: Is mild warp acceptable?

It really depends how "mild" that warp is... But I mostly just keep the record anyway, as most of the TTs I use will play through the warps with no problem.

I've seen some records with more serious defects, like off-center spindle holes... And the tough thing is that most labels and distributors won't accept returns on new (opened) vinyl, even if they're warped!
