Did you try AES or I2s from your Singxer to your DAC, and if so what didn't you like about it (since you ended up using an optical connection) and what optical cable are you using?

Agree.....One of my clients brought over a 520 to Demo on my reference QLS model (a ribbon based Line Source ) . I was pleasantly surprised how good it sounded driving the QLS.....VERY smooth, clean...
