The Best Amplifier is usually the best after considering the load being driven and demand , Ked did suggest it could be different on a different pr of speakers just not so on the YG ...

Interesting your battery powered comments , I'm of the same opinion , my first battery powered device was in the late 70's and then as you i felt we lost drive and dynamics , smooth but soft . Well...
