    Re: Siltech Prince vs King

Hi no, it still hasn't happened yet. At the end of 2016 my interest in playing guitar crept up on me as I hadn't played in years so that lead to a switching of my finances over to guitars, amps and...

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

Very nice, congrats on the new Siltech's. Those speaker cables and interconnects are what I'll eventually be moving towards as well. I already did the Golden Ridge last year.

So out of curiosity how much thicker are these then the Ruby Mountain II's and Ruby Double Crown's?

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

I see Siltech is unveiling a power cord in the Triple Crown series at CES. Given how thick the interconnects and speaker cables are I wonder if this thing will be like 1 AWG :)

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

Hey Mike, are the gold options in your North American price sheets? I'm curious if this is available in North America. Siltech never did respond to my question on North American availability and...

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

Interesting, thanks. I've never heard of cable companies offering different cosmetics in different markets.

I sent Siltech an e-mail last week asking about it and if it is an option and what the...

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

Does anyone know what the deal is with the gold bullet/barrel I see in a lot of pics of Royal Signatures cables on-line? Looking at the Siltech website the only Royal Signature series shown with a...

Re: how often do you upgrade?

Not to often as I don't have the disposable income of many on the forums judging by how often I see people upgrade and in turn take the financial hit each time, both the loss on the old and cost of...

    Re: Sonus faber Il Cremonese

Congrats! My vote is for using the Futura's as surrounds. Having been using full range surrounds myself now through 2 setups there is no substitute especially for music. That's a killer setup. Make...

    Re: Sonus faber Il Cremonese

It's been a while since I looked at the Aida specs, I forgot that it's infra woofer was at the bottom not the top like the Lilium. I also didn't know the Aida's woofer was actively powered. It makes...

Re: Bryston announcing SST3 series amps

Thanks for the heads up of the review. Hopefully they were able to compare directly to the SST2, with blind listening tests and performance measurements. I'm very eager for those, especially if the...

    Re: Sonus faber Il Cremonese

Yeah it's a monster and with a monster price tag. A center of that size fascinates me as did the extinct B&W HTM1-D.

It's interesting you mention about it being used as mains. Focal does something...

    Re: Sonus faber Il Cremonese

    Looking at the Wilson dimensions, the Mezzo is 17.375" H x 29.5" W x 20.875" D and 159lbs while the Polaris is 29" H x 38.75" W x 25" D and 294 lbs :) For more perspective the Polaris has a typical...

    Re: Sonus faber Il Cremonese

I imagine the Lillium's high price hasn't helped. The speaker and it's price may have been to close to the Aida I suppose. It would be interesting to read feedback of impressions of the Il Cremonese...

    Re: Siltech Royal Signature Series

At some point I might try the Flux-50. I suspect that will be a product that will see the NCF tech down the road as Furutech seems to be offering NCF versions of all of their top tier power...
