Re: Thinking about a pair of Raidho X-1 speakers .....

I've heard the MMIs and thought they were good. In that price range I like the Totem element series tho.

The Raidho tweeter that is in the X1 and ALL of the rest of the Raidho's is a top flight one. Some say best made currently. Not sure of that but no question one of the top 3-4. But anyway, with it and then a balanced woofer and enclosure makes it amazing.

Prob get a pair in late march.

Re: Thinking about a pair of Raidho X-1 speakers .....

wow i was just trying to find a little info on the x1, like the specs and stuff, raidho website is broke or something i cant get anywhere. very annoying. but i did find this pic, and although c1.1's these would sure look good sitting next to my black and white rack and black and white fabers!! but not sure if 15w would run them. Bob once told me if i was going to buy a pair he would bring them down and plug them into my system first. but @$15k plus $3k for the speacial stands, think ill wait for mor info on the x1. like can i get em in white!!! lol

Hi Steve, Unfortunately the Raidho site had been hacked. I am sure they will get it fixed soon. The X-1 sure looks good though. I doubt 15 watts will be enough to drive them to satisfaction but I am sure you will audition before purchase to draw your own conclusion.

Re: Thinking about a pair of Raidho X-1 speakers .....

In reading JV blog on his visit to Raidho. There is going to be a whole X line of speakers. Lars had said at CES that the new X series woofers don't pop.

This might be the version of Raidho's that will satisfy the volume seekers.

I wonder how long it will be until the larger units are available. Exciting times.

thanks!! unfortunately by the look of those specs they would have a tough time on 15w. and im not getting any more watts if anything im going down in watts. but they sure are cool and if i decide to buy the manley 300b's i can probably run them on the 25wpp mode. but the reason i would go witht the manleys is to run my present speakers on the 24w pp mode, and find something sweet and efficient to run them in the 12w set mode. i guess my dream of owning raidho monitors is fizzling away.lol. too bad i love them!!
