I can concur...also heard them at Adam's sans some of the DTC cabling. The monos and preamp take Aavik to new heights and those 5.1's are perfect in such a listening environment - no pressurization in Adam's room whatsoever. They breathe beautifully!

Sorry I couldn't make it when you were in town. But I will say your D3.1's sure sounded great at Adam's too. I love the lighter Walnut. In fact your D2.1's look as good (maybe better) hehe. I never really knew how much the diamond feet really did for the sound until I had Tyler take them off my D2.1's for your D3.1's. Needless to say I had Tyler get another pair for me. BTW do you have any DTC cables?
    George

Aavik U300 - Raidho D3.1's in Walnut burl with black trim - Naim unitiserve 2tb - Ansuz DTC digital cable with power box - Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC with 1 Ansuz D-TC and 1 Ceramic V2 power cords - Ansuz Ceramic V2 speaker cables - Ansus X Ethernet - pARTicular Novus full suspension rack.

The difference adding the Ansuz cables for power distribution, DTC power, USB, speaker, etc. was stunning. Noise dropped dramatically and clarity and conference reached levels I had not previously heard in the Raidho system.

    Re: Raidho, Aavik, Ansuz

Congrats Mike!! The Ansuz DTC with the Mainzd8 will considerably drop the noise floor in any system. That said the noise floor will drop significantly again after you add some DTC IC's or digital cables. Just remember with the DTC digital and IC's the power box is needed. Wait until you try the Darkz DTC too.

Hi George! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'll come back with pleasure and we'll gladly meet. Love my D2.1's on the diamond feet (I also use diamond adjustable Darkz under the feet). The D3.1's are also amazing but the D2.1's definitely give them a run for their money. Both great. No DTC cabling quite yet - Of course I hope to get them one day - but for now I've got mostly Ansuz ceramic and diamond along with a bit of Nordost Valhalla.

Appreciate your kind words...please keep in touch.

    Hi Mike!

What is your overall impression of the U-300 so far?
Scansonic MB-1, Aavik U-300, Sony CD Player as transport, mixture of ansuz cables in different qualities, Ansuz Mainz X Power Distribution, Ansuz Power Distribution for DTC cables
