    Re: New Raidho Cx.2 series

Last photo. Arrived at the factory on Monday, shipping them out Wednesday. They said they have done a few C1.1 upgrades, but this is the first C1 to C1.2 upgrade. Main difference is the new tweeter. I also pick up 1.5 to 2 db in efficiency, that will be significant since I am driving them with an AVA U70.

Look at that snazzy new tweeter! Communications from them has been most excellent, they deserve the reputation they have gained. I am thrilled beyond words to think that I bought these things at an auction in South Africa, no guarantee, serial numbers were worn off, and no questions. I am not the original owner and these could be as much as 6-8 years old? And now I have a brand new speaker, introduced at CES 2017, basically everything has been replaced, for 2,800 euros.

I never imagined that I would own such speakers. Raidho was always one of those "I don't even thing someday". I have a small room, with a pair of subs, and a 35 watt a channel tube amp, these will be perfect for me.

They should be ready to ship on Wednesday, three day turnaround time.
Holy cr@p - Just looked at the cost of black wings - screws and base. 600 euros for the wings on the D2.1's - 180 euros for the black trim screws and 500 euros for the black base. The wings and screws are a flat black where the base is high gloss.

Hard to see but they have black wings and base. Can't see the screws but they are black too. At those prices I don't think they will not sell very many IMO. I will say the diamond adj feet do make for a nice difference in SQ whether on carpet or a hard floor.

Diamond feet 5,800 euros. Glad I don't need feet. Someday I might get the Raidho stands, oh I know it will make a big difference, but just can't swing it.

When I was demoing the D2.1's in my home they had the Diamond feet. I didn't think they made a difference especially being on carpet so I asked my Dealer Tyler to replace them with the standard ones. Wow was I disappointed. The sound was clearer with the feet. Needless to say I got them back.
