    Re: New Raidho Cx.2 series

Apparently you can ship them or take them to a USA dealer for the upgrade. This saves two weeks of shipping time and maybe 600-800 bucks in cost. Sweet! I have a dealer about an hour drive from me.

    Dear John,

I forgot one thing in the ealier mail. We recommend you to contact one of our local dealers.

You can find out USA dealers here:

The price for you will be the same but you will have a local dealer who had tried the upgrade process before.

The dealers in the USA do NOT do the upgrade. They ship them to Denmark.

My mistake, I misunderstood the e-mail from Raidho. They want to keep the US dealer in the loop, for some reason that I can only speculate upon. They can help with shipping to Denmark, but my guess is that is not included in the price, but not sure. They will invoice in the US through the dealer so I can pay in US dollars, then they ship them back directly to me, in this case on my UPS account. I am waiting to here more details from my nearest Raidho dealer, they didn't seem to know much. I told them the cost, that was on the website.

Shipping is not included in the cost of the upgrade. It states so specifically on their website. I will be shipping my C1's off this week and will let you know how it goes. No involvement from a dealer, dealing directly with Raidho.

If it's anything like the D upgrade you'll hear faster transients - a bit more detail - a couple of hz deeper and they will play louder. Doesn't sound like a whole lot but it does a lot like a newer better model.

As it is with many products. If you first listen to the C1, and then a C1.x afterwards, you'll never want to go back. The recent upgrades makes it sound like a complete new speaker in a positive manner. I'm very excited to hear what you think of the upgrade, once you get your speaker back

    Re: New Raidho Cx.2 series

Not that exciting of news but my C1s will be delivered to Raidho in Denmark tomorrow. One aspect I am most interested in is the increased sensitivity. I think the C1s come in at 85 db. The C1.1 are supposed to be 86.5? I believe there is a little bit more increase going to the C1.2? This is going to be most important for me as I am going to be running them with my AVA U70, 35 watts a channel. Every little bit of efficiency is going to help. I had them crossed over at 120 hz with my stereo subs. Be nice to be able to drop that even a little bit. Definition of bass and bass tone was most outstanding with the C1s.
