Did these resonance problems occur above a certain SPL? Most importantly, did you ever experience this resonance issue with your C1's in the same room? I am in love with what Raidho does and want the best they can offer, but I think I am afraid the C Series may be the best option until things get figured out by Muchael and Lars.
    Hi Paul,
You are welcome. I noticed that you have the Pass Labs XA200.5 amps. I used the Pass XA100.5 with my Raidho C1.1s. The results were terrific. I now use a Burmester 956 stereo amp, which also performs like a champ. Your amps will have much more current than the XA100.5s. They will control the Raidho woofers with an iron grip.

Thanks Anshul. That is good to know. It sounds like if I want spl above 90dbl the C2.1 or C3.1 might be the ticket.

    Hi Paul,
I just want to clarify that the C1.1s can go between 90-99 dB effortlessly (measured at my listening position which is 7 feet away from the speakers). I listen to them at more moderate volumes to preserve my hearing

Yes Mike, unless Jock's test with the Watch Dogs proves successful the C's may be the option for me. (For those interested Jock's test is described in the D3 Review thread near the end.)

Thanks for the clarification Anshul. Good information. It would still be nice to hear if anyone else has managed to make the C's "pop". Kiwi perhaps???

    Regarding Raidho D-3…
Most owners of Raidho D-3 are very happy about their speakers both when it comes to sound and musicality.
In the past Michael and I have been following the threads “Raidho D-3 review” with highly interest and unfortunately it has showing up that a few costumers could have wished a greater power handling.
When you design and develop speakers, it is always a tradeoff, when it comes to power handling, reliability, sound, and music performance.
After developing our new Raidho D-5, we have got a lot of new ideas, if you are not 100% happy about your D-3, we are offering you the following.
We are upgrading your speakers for free, we also offer to help with all shipping documents, we only
ask that you pay the shipping cost to Denmark. We will pay for the shipping cost back to you.
What the upgrade offers you is: far better power handling (increase the AVG. SPL with more than 4 to 5 dB), better control in the low frequency area and better dynamic range…
To make the upgrade possible please contact Michael or me:
    E-mail address: lk@raidho.dk or mb@raidho.dk.
    Kind regards
    Lars

    Re: D5

Raidho D5 update: I just got back from the Chicago Axpona show which opened today. Robert Harley, editor in chief at the Absolute Sound signed the book that I purchased at the show "Illustrated History of High End Audio Vol. I Loudspeakers". While I had his attention I asked him when the review of the D5 would be coming out. His response was "if you think that JV was excited about the C 4.1's wait till you hear what he has to say about the D5's". Me: "So he like them" RH: " He is over the moon about the D5's, in fact he has invited manufactures over to listen to the D5's and some have responded that this is the best sound that they have ever heard coming out of an audio system". He did not elaborate if these were speaker manufactures or other.

I asked him when the review would be coming out in a forthcoming issue. All he would say was "soon". I asked him when JV's blog might come out on the D5's and he said "very soon".

Let me open a separate window to see how much I have in my 401k.....

    D5

I ordered a pair of D5's this week. Lars said end of June. This should give me time to do a mortgage, sell a body part or something. All joking aside I'm very excited. Just have to figure out the money part.
