I enjoy Jason's writing. His coverage of shows is prodigious. He's willing to point out the shortcomings as well as the strengths of products he covers, and as a music critic he knows more about classical music than most, which gives him extra cred with me. His reference system isn't too shabby either.

we all have a right to our own opinion. I happen to disagree with you.

personally I appreciate the passion and level of serious commitment from both Fremer and Serinus. no doubt they have done the work to earn the right to tell us how they feel. it's up to us whether it influences our purchases. while I've paid close attention to Mikey and enjoyed his writing over the years (while many times disagreeing with him), not so much Serinus. but he lives in my neighborhood now, so maybe I will pay more attention.

    thanks Dan, for the link.

Thanks for posting. Good to see him mention my friend Bart at 7:10. Good to see a reviewer with a decent room, and well treated and well thought out (given living constraints). We all know he would get much better results getting the piano, bookshelves, etc. out of the room, but living conditions often dictate otherwise.

I like Jason's show writing, but Synergistic, Stein, Bybees, green wave filters etc? um, yeah.

I think the other interesting thing is how people have (finally) discovered the Alexia 1 was a flawed design because of the < 2 ohm impedance. First time i heard them they shut down a pair of tube monos in my friends system. Wilsons used to be such a more tube-friendly design and I hope they return to that.
